Dr. Miller has extensive experience as a medical researcher, clinician, and administrator. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his MBA from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. He has also received training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and at the University of California, San Francisco. Recognized for his research in the areas of acute renal failure, hypertension, and health care economics, Dr. Miller has been invited to speak on four different continents and has published over seventy scientific articles.

Dr. Cox specializes in pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes research with a focus on assessing the clinical and financial realities of prescription drug use within the pharmacy benefit. Her findings help pharmacy-plan sponsors make more informed plan-design decisions that lead to lower costs while minimizing member disruption. A former faculty member at the University of Arizona Colleges of Pharmacy and Medicine, she conducts research related to pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomic evaluation of drug therapy, and the impact of plan design on pharmaceuticals. Dr. Cox is a highly sought-after speaker with extensive publishing credits.
Bob Nease, PhD

Dr. Nease investigates patient decision-making and healthcare behavior in the pharmacy benefit. As an Advisory Board member of the Center for Cost-Effective Consumerism, he is especially interested in translating the latest findings from related areas of study, including neuroscience, psychology, cognitive linguistics, and behavioral economics. Prior to joining Express Scripts, Dr. Nease was an associate professor at Washington University in St. Louis and an assistant professor at Dartmouth College. Dr. Nease earned his doctorate in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University. He was formerly the president of the Society for Medical Decision Making. Dr. Nease has also served as a study section member of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and is a reviewer for a number of journals.
